Prayer and Holy Day Article List

This listing of articles will be different. We will segregate the articles based on their significance related to common prayers and to specific Holy Days. The reader should understand that the articles posted are only suggestions for ways in which things can be done. We are providing you with a framework for developing your own unique way of performing these days.

Some of the articles (especially the prayers) will be presented in two formats. One will include the Sacred Names, the other will not. We request that our members be mature enough to look past the particular philosophy that they engage. We will, as time goes on, present our own MP3 formatted teachings on these issues. There may be controversy related to those audios, but I hope that the tenure of this website will allow us to get past the plaque of these issues that has prevented the Messianic Movement from going forward as a viable and strong movement.

Believe me, I will present substantial "editorial" on the ills that face the Messianic Movement. I hope that my commentary can move us past these ills. I do not see much hope in structured religion. And, as such, without some structured religion in America I don't see much hope of developing a religious and moral atmosphere that is conducive to recovery from the ills that we are facing.

All I can say is be tolerant. Think about these things. Think about the "weightier" matters of Torah. And, many of those issues will also be presented forthrightly in coming essays. This website will become a clearinghouse for holiness. I'm not convinced many people are interested in that concept today. I, for one, see it as our only hope of redeeming our culture.

> Rosh Hashanah Workbook
Author: Writeen by and compiled by Dr. Robert Tippie
Description: This is a special tradition started many decades ago by my own congregation. We used the Ten Days of Awe as a time to systematically repent of our sins. It included a ten day day-light fast with a complete fast on Yom Kippur. Anyone who engages in this fast will find it to be an extraordinary spiritual experience. It is truly life-changing. This document contains a complete workbook.

Whom We Hurt
Author: Sara Livinsky Rigler (used by permission)
Description: This is a compelling document related to individuals that we hurt and how those "hurts" affect us and our forgiveness on Yom Kippur. Whom we forgive affects how we are forgiven in the day of sealing on Yom Kippur. This is serious business no matter what our "petty" pop New Testament doctrines may teach. I strongly suggest that every single individual read this document a number of times and seriously consider its consequences. The consequences may indeed be dire for the upcoming year. This is one of the most important and one of the most serious documents that has been posted on the TorahTips website. Don't ignore it. It has been expertly written.
