Many of the prophecy related articles were written a long time ago. As I reviewed the whole corpus of documents that I could have posted on the new TorahTips site, I thought that there might be some redeeming value in posting these articles. Please read them and take them for what they are worth.
Mark of the Beast: Is It Here Already?

Description: This is an initial examination of the technologies that are present related to implantable biochips and how they can affect our future. Most of the article is related to the VeriChip Corporation. Although VeriChip Corporation is not the only corporation working on this technology, I have chosen to discuss what they are doing as an example of how close we are to having bio-implantable and readable chips as part of our human body.

The Mark of the Beast: The Evidence Grows

Description: This article is a continuation of the previous one. In this article, however, the VeriChip Corporation actually implanted a chip in a family and made a media event out of the episode. This shows how they are trying to promote this idea as safe and effective - something that every American family should do. This is, in my opinion, preconditioning for the future when this biochip will become mandatory.

Mark of the Beast: Permission Granted

Description: This article shows the continuation of the whole philosophical idea that human should receive an implantable chip under their skin. In this article we discuss the permission that has been given by the Federal Government to allow VeriChip to implant individuals with the chip. The Federal Government has now decided that the chip is OK for human implantation. This is one step closer to the mandatory implanting of - first of all the elderly, the helpless, the homeless, and the sick - and then the whole population.

Mark of the Beast: Part IV
Author: Dr. Robert Tippie, Ph.D.
Description: This article discusses other technologies that are being worked on to enhance the concept of wireless human contact for the future. I believe that there will be many different methods that will be used prior to the actual "mark of the beast." There will be increments in the technology that will get us ready for the final step. And, on that note, I'm not sure that VeriChip will even be the "final company" that is the frontrunner in the marketing and production of this tool. There may be others who will step forward with even greater technologies that will surpass the technologies of VeriChip. They have always had a "sketchy" past economically.
