A Little History
Since 1999, the TorahTips website has hosted numerous free articles. We have also hosted a 30-lesson free Torah study that takes the student through the 613 commandments of the Torah. All of this has been free. We have received little support - and, quite frankly, we have asked for little support. We have willingly "given away" our material.
Now it is time for a change. Society is rapidly moving away from Biblical morals at an alarming rate. Anyone who understands anything at all about the scriptures must understand that judgment for these sins must come at some time. And, unfortunately, the longer judgment is held off, the worse it will be when it comes.
We have entered a new stage in the TorahTips venture. We are now going to a subscription-based service for our articles and for advanced/structured education. We have many individuals who visit the site on a regular basis. We hope that those individuals who have been with us for so long will support us in our new effort. It will certainly be to your benefit to join the Members' Only area of TorahTips.
Why the change now? Because we believe that it is time to apply Torah in specific situations. It's no longer time to put Torah in our heads, it's time to apply it to our hands and begin working for the Kingdom. This has not been an easy decision since it means that we will lose 99.5% of everyone that visits us. So be it. We are looking for those individuals who wish to apply Torah to every day situations and not to engage in the petty disputes that plaque the Messianic community.
Subscription Benefits
We are offering the following list of benefits. Benefits to members will increase as time goes on based on support for this website. The more support we get, the more services will be added to the site.
All current Premium PDF files that we produce will be available free to subscribers (over $60 in value)
All MP3 files that we produce will be available to subscribers free of charge
The complete 30-lesson Torah study will be available to subscribers
A minimum of one MP3 lesson per Torah study will be posted so that students will be able to listen to explanations of the Torah passages
The weekly Torah portion will be posted (at first just by passage indication, but later in other formats - maybe even in MP3 format)
Free in-depth courses will be available for all members. These courses include:
Principles of Interpretation Course (free, instructor guided)
Mastering Torah Applications (free, instructor guided)
Secrets of the Tithe (free, instructor guided)
Studies in Prayer and Worship (free, instructor guided)
Studies in the Kosher Laws (free, instructor guided)
Studies in the Book of Isaiah (free, instructor guided)
Holy Day information will be posted from a number of differing viewpoints so you can choose the method and format of worship that works for you
Hands on activities will be suggested so that you can become a beacon of light in a dark world
Free posting of your congregation's meeting information (visible on the main TorahTips website)
University Certificates available for those who finish all of the courses
A forum of some sort will be created. This will probably start as a blog but will probably evolve into a complete discussion board. That board will be monitored and the purpose will be on serving and furthering the Kingdom rather than on vain disputes

A Final Note of Encouragement
If you are not sure if you wish to participate, then you need to contact us. We will explain more of the system to you and then you can make an informed decision. We can also discuss the cost of the program at that time. We will not be accepting anyone into this new paradigm without having had direct verbal communication with them. You need to know our intent and we need to hear your desire to learn and apply Torah.
The whole process of weeding out our database as it exists will probably take us a month or so. Studies, however, will begin on September 10th, 2007. You can "jump right in" to the studies at any time. There are no designated starting times for the courses.
I suggest that you contact us as soon as possible. The greater your interest, the more quickly you should contact us - lest you become "tares" in our database and never hear from us again.

[As individuals progress through this whole system of courses, they will receive certificates of achievement to recognize that they have been through the whole process. While TorahTips is not an accredited organization (either in the United States or Internationally) the certificate will have some value as the TorahTips organization does have a "name" for itself in the Messianic community. The certificates will also be valuable as our own organization grows and individuals which to take on positions as instructors and directors of various ministries. Only through those certificate awards will individuals be able to be given positions that need a certain level of expertise.]
